It seems like all game developers have decided to wait until 2018 to release their games, and GameFreak is no different. They’ve begun a development on a core RPG Pokémon title for the Nintendo Switch and it should be ready for us at some point in 2018. It’s said that this new game will feature the same art style, map, routes, and cities as Pokémon Sun and Moon, but it will mark the first time in the history of the series that a “main” Pokémon RPG title is coming to a home console so this is huge news.

We can only really speculate what the game could include, but just knowing something special like this is on its way is exciting enough, and we look forward to writing articles that build up to its release over the coming months. We can only hope it’s a big improvement on the existing Pokémon Sun and Moon from the 3DS.
